in view of your academic excellence in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine we would like to invite you in our upcoming course, “INTEGRATED NEUROMUSCULAR ULTRASOUND–ELECTRODIAGNOSTIC COURSE – A FOCUS ON FOCAL MONONEUROPATHIES,” which will take place on 12 December 2026 in Thessaloniki, Greece.

This one-day, EFSUMB-endorsed course will be conducted under the supervision of Eman Tawfik, Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Ain Shams University Faculty of Medicine in Cairo, Egypt. Prof. Tawfik is internationally recognized as one of the leading educators and speakers in the field of neuromuscular ultrasound. She has authored numerous scientific publications in this field, including international guidelines on neuromuscular ultrasound education and diagnostic protocols for various disorders of the peripheral nervoussystem (PNS).

The aim of the course is to introduce participants to the fundamental principles of neuromuscular ultrasound and to internationally established neurophysiological and ultrasound-based approaches to entrapment neuropathies, while providing extensive hands-on training in the ultrasound assessment of these conditions.

The programme includes:
– Correct scanning techniques and optimization of ultrasound image quality
– Identification of normal and pathological ultrasound findings in the upper and lower extremities
– Particular emphasis on carpal tunnel syndrome, ulnar neuropathy at the elbow, radial neuropathy, and peroneal neuropathy
– Integration of ultrasound findings with electrodiagnostic studies for a comprehensive assessment of entrapment neuropathies
